Hendrix Reads Aldiss

How about this gem of a photo that @penguinbookaday tweeted recently. OK so technically Jimi Hendrix isn’t actually reading dad’s work (his name is on the cover as the editor), but I am still impressed with this roundabout claim to fame. Hendrix was an SF fan, he has also been quoted as enjoying dad’s work, but the only noted direct influence on any of his work was Philip José Farmer’s Night Of Light on Purple Haze (from i09.com).
