Marketing Week live! – Digital Strategy Panel – #MWL2010

I was fortunate enough to arrive just in time to catch the best panel of the day at the Marketing Week Live event today. It was a rare opportunity to hear the combined comments of some of the greatest strategic thinkers in the digital space right now in the UK.
Overall the general feeling was one of having the luxury to work with some of the worlds best brands and that so much of the success from modern day marketing activities are down to how good the product is and how well it is likely to be received.

There was a lot of interesting insight which I have detailed in 140 character bullets from my Twitter stream below. The main theme throughout the show was one of co-creation. This is the buzz-word of the social web and a function afforded by the latest technology to bring brands and customers together in product development.
